I've sent a deposit from my wallet, why is nothing showing up on qTrade?
It is not rare for a blockchain to be backed up with many transactions, causing unexpected delays in processing your transaction. A great way to track the status of your transaction is to use the transaction ID (TxID) to follow the status on the network.
How do I check the transaction status on the Bitcoin blockchain?
Using an explorer like blockchain.com, copy-paste your transaction ID (also known as a transaction hash/TxID) to the box outlined in red below and perform a search:
Bitcoin transactions are typically verified and deposited in qTrade after 2 confirmations but may take more in certain situations.
Why is my transaction not getting any confirmations?
A transaction may sit in the mempool and not be mined into a block for quite some time - especially if the network is processing many transactions and yours was sent with a low fee.
For most currencies we display an entry for the deposit as soon as it shows up in the mempool, but some for some newer currencies this may not be a feature that is implemented yet.
Why does my transaction have some confirmations on the explorer but isn't getting credited on qTrade?
Once a transaction is on the blockchain it will still take a variable amount of time to confirm and post to the exchange. Different blockchains require different amounts of “confirmations” before a transaction is verified.
If the explorer is showing sufficient confirmations and your deposit status appears incorrect please give it a few minutes, sometimes there is a delay transmitting blocks between nodes. If you've waited and it still isn't moving please open a support ticket and we'll investigate.
The exchange I am sending from shows that my transaction completed, why haven’t I received anything on qTrade?
A withdrawal marked as “completed” or “success” on an exchange does not mean that the transaction has fully processed to on qTrade – it simply means that the transaction was successfully posted to the blockchain.
