Funding your qTrade account

1. Purchase cryptocurrency on another exchange

qTrade is a US based exchange, and to minimize compliance requirements we only handle cryptocurrency. This means there is no ability to link a bank account, or otherwise deposit or transfer sovereign currencies, such as USD.

If you'd like to use USD we recommend purchasing BTC or ETH on a reputable exchange such as Coinbase or Binance and then depositing it to qTrade. For assistance purchasing tokens via these exchanges please consult their support pages.

2. Depositing cryptocurrency to qTrade

Navigate to the BALANCES tab

3. Select the currency you'd like to deposit

On larger screens (desktop): Click the currency from the navigation menu on the left

On smaller screens (mobile): Select the currency from the provided list

4. Get a deposit address

click DEPOSIT.  

This will provide your qTrade BTC wallet address, which you can scan in via a QR code, or copy and paste. We strongly recommend not typing cryptocurrency addresses by hand, since it is very easy to make a small mistake this way and potentially lose funds!

5. Withdraw your cryptocurrency to qTrade

Initiate a withdraw from the exchange you used in step 1. Provide them with your qTrade deposit address

6. Be patient!

Although some networks can complete transactions very quickly, most require waiting ~20-40 minutes for the network to finalize the transaction. Some smaller networks may take much longer
